Refund Policy

Short version: We generally do not offer refunds once a purchase is made and credits have been granted or subscription access has commenced. Refunds are available only in cases of verified technical failure on our end where you received no service value. Please read on for full details.

1. Our General Policy

Love for Physics is a digital service that delivers value immediately upon purchase — credits are granted to your account the moment payment is confirmed. Because digital goods are consumed instantly and cannot be "returned", our general policy is that all sales are final.

This is a standard policy for digital educational platforms and is permitted under applicable Indian consumer protection laws for digital goods where the service has been rendered.

2. What Is Refundable

We will issue a full refund in the following specific circumstances:

2.1 Technical Failure — Payment Deducted but Credits Not Granted

If money was deducted from your bank account or card but credits were NOT added to your Love for Physics account within 15 minutes, you are entitled to a full refund or credit correction.

To claim: email us at arnabmondal.bankura@gmail.com with your Razorpay payment ID (found in your bank statement or email receipt) within 7 days of the transaction. We will verify the payment against our records and either credit your account or issue a refund within 3 business days.

2.2 Duplicate Payment

If you were charged twice for the same order due to a technical error, the second charge will be fully refunded. Please email us with both transaction IDs.

2.3 Unauthorised Transaction

If you believe a payment was made on your account without your authorisation, please contact us immediately and file a complaint with your bank. We will cooperate fully with any investigation and issue a refund if the transaction is verified as unauthorised.

3. What Is Not Refundable

4. Subscription — No Pro-Rata Refunds

We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a subscription. For example, if you purchase a 30-day subscription and decide to stop using the Service after 10 days, you are not entitled to a refund for the remaining 20 days.

We encourage you to use the free trial credits available to new users to evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe your situation falls under the refundable categories in Section 2, please:

  • Email arnabmondal.bankura@gmail.com with subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]".
  • Include your registered email address and Razorpay payment/order ID.
  • Describe the issue briefly.
  • Submit your request within 7 days of the transaction date.

We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within 2 business days and to resolve them within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Razorpay and typically reflect in 5–7 business days depending on your bank.

6. Chargebacks

We take chargeback fraud seriously. If you file a chargeback with your bank for a valid transaction that does not qualify for a refund under this policy, we reserve the right to:

  • Immediately suspend your account pending investigation.
  • Provide evidence of the valid transaction to your bank.
  • Permanently terminate your account if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or made in bad faith.

We always prefer to resolve disputes directly. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we are a small team and are committed to fair resolution of genuine issues.
